  First time downtown!
Woke up early to get ready to go downtown with my friend to go hang out. However, the electricity in our house was not working! I took a shower regardless and let my hair air dry, I just needed to straighten it since it didn't get blow dried. As I waited for the darn power, I put on makeup, for once in my life. It came out horrible, but what's done is done. The power didn't come back on and it was almost time for my friend to pick me up, so I just pulled it into a bun. Right when I was going to leave, the power came back on. I knew, since I turned on all the lights in the house to know if the light came back on. I was so damn frustrated at the timing, but I quickly straightened it and was about to leave until my parents woke up. I hid in the closet to their unknowing and waited for them to go downstairs. Twenty minutes later, I was out the house and into my friend's car and zooming towards downtown. I was pleased, very. He had the patience to wait for me even though we were about thirty minutes late on schedule. After getting to downtown through the horrid traffic, we parked somewhere on the streets and walked downtown with our out-of-the-ordinary formal clothes. We went into one of the stores and bought us each a scarf and matching hats. That was all my friend's money, so expensive. After roaming and window-shopping for a while, we went to meet our friend who was going to give us a tour for his university. Our true purpose for going there, actually. After a short tour, since we weren't really allowed to go into the building during the weekends. Our friend took some pictures of us in autumn fall. Professional as he is, they come out so lovely. We went to his place to get them uploaded onto our phones and chill. Around early noon, we went to go return the stuff we bought earlier to go eat McDonalds. I really wanted to keep them, but we were just so hungry. Afterwards, we went to his cousin's football practice at a school nearby my house. I walked home mid-way through the game, afraid that my parent's wanted me home. Afterall, they don't know were I am, unless my brother blew it to them. I was walking down the hill of my house right when my parents turned in the other way, screwed. My mother questioned my attire and whereabouts, so I straight out told her the truth. No harm, right? Or so I thought, and she accused my friend of being my boyfriend. I was thinking, "What the hell? I said friend, you crazy woman. Get it straight." And.. I fell asleep afterwards. But overall, that was the funnest day of my life, I won't forget it. It sure lightened my life.
